What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. In scientific research, they’re studied for their roles in cellular signaling, gene expression, and regulatory functions.
What is the purpose of LuvionBio products?
All products are designated Research Use Only (RUO) and are not intended for human or veterinary use. They are meant for in-vitro studies, assay development, and laboratory experiments.
Are your products FDA approved?
No. Our products are not FDA-approved and are designated strictly for Research Use Only (RUO). While not intended for clinical or therapeutic use, our materials are produced in ISO- and GMP-aligned facilities and tested against stringent internal specifications that often exceed typical standards for research-grade material.
Quality & Testing
How are your peptides tested?
Our peptides undergo strict testing to support consistency and quality. Net peptide content is verified using nitrogen analysis for accurate quantitation in research. LAL testing confirms endotoxin levels below 0.05 EU/mL. Mass spectrometry verifies identity under ISO-aligned quality control, and HPLC analysis confirms purity. Do you provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs)?
Yes. LuvionBio products include batch-specific COAs and lab data, available on product pages or by request. Many can also be independently verified through our third-party testing partner, Freedom Diagnostics.
What is the typical purity of your peptides?
Most LuvionBio peptides are >99% pure by HPLC. Some medium-to-long peptides — particularly those with complex structures or modifications — are often not feasible to purify beyond ~98.5%. Each product’s purity is listed per batch for transparency.
Compliance & Restrictions
Are these products safe for human or veterinary use?
No. Our products are strictly for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use under any circumstances. All compounds are unapproved research materials and must be handled only by qualified professionals in controlled laboratory environments. LuvionBio reserves the right to suspend accounts and refuse service if misuse is suspected.
Can you advise on dosing or administration?
No. For compliance and regulatory reasons, LuvionBio does not provide guidance on dosing, administration, or experimental protocols. All products are sold strictly for Research Use Only and must be handled by qualified professionals in controlled laboratory environments.
Can I purchase if I’m not affiliated with a lab or institution?
Affiliation with a formal lab or institution is not required, but all buyers must certify that products will be used solely for in-vitro research, analytical work, or other lawful, non-clinical study. LuvionBio does not sell to individuals intending therapeutic, diagnostic, or personal use.
